There is something about being away for a week of camp, away from usual distractions, surrounded by nature, free to be oneself, and accepted and cared for by a loving staff of counselors. This is the sacred space of Jr. High Camp and Asian Camp. A safe environment to explore, discover and to reflect upon one’s faith, and relationship to God. A week of growing, learning and the beginning of lifelong friendships. Thanks for your consideration to support the legacy of our camps and a transformative week for our youth!

Camper Scholarships:

We never want finances to be a reason for a youth not to be able to join in the camp experience. Camp Registration fees have increased over the years. A full JHC Scholarship is $450. (6 days) A full Asian Camp Scholarship is $500 (7 days) Partial scholarship of any amount would be appreciated! We are looking forward to returning to Camp Lodestar in 2022!

 

Camping Board Budget (general fund)

The NJAUMC Camping Board is responsible for the financial stewardship of Jr. High Camp and Asian Camp. The total budget also supports an Annual Leadership Retreat and training for the counselors and special programs.
