Join Us! The Camp Directors are excited for you to join the Asian Camp counselor team! We pray to allow the Spirit to work through all of us to plan another meaningful year for the spiritual formation of our youth and local churches.

 

Serving as a Camp Counselor is a big responsibility and an experience that we hope you find graceful, challenging, and purposeful. As a Camp Counselor, you will have many responsibilities, including but not limited to planning small group activities, assisting in various programming, and nurturing and encouraging of the campers' spiritual growth.

 

Additionally, as a part of the Asian Camp staff, we ask that you support this camping ministry in any way you may be asked to. Our UMC covenant calls us to faithfully participate in the life and ministries of our local congregation through our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. We pray that you consider carefully when making this commitment to serve.

 

 

The following prerequisites must be met:   

 

• Currently 1st year of college or older.

• Actively participating at your local church or any other Christian based organization.

• Must have an active relationship with God.   

 

• Must attend the In-Person Camp: June 29 - July 4th

• Must attend Post-Camp: July 4th

• Must also attend all All-Staff virtual meetings. (See counselor training dates below)

• Must turn in your application and all required forms by February 9th, 2025
